A Life Worthy of the Gospel: Prioritizes Unity #2

In this message from Philippians 2, we’re reminded that living a life worthy of the gospel means surrendering our rights and investing fully in Christ and His church. Paul calls believers to unity—not by thinking alike on every issue, but by submitting our minds, wills, emotions, and desires to Jesus as King.

The sermon highlights the resources we already have in Christ: encouragement, love, fellowship through the Spirit, and the mercy of God. Because we’ve been extravagantly loved, we’re called to love others the same way—putting their needs ahead of our own, even when it’s difficult or costly.

True unity, we’re reminded, isn’t built on comfort or convenience, but on humility, shared purpose, and a willingness to die to ourselves so that God’s best can take shape in and through His church. When Christ is our focus, unity becomes the natural result.
