In this week’s message, Pastor Kit walks through Acts 18:9–11 and reminds us that even faithful believers sometimes battle fear, discouragement, and exhaustion. Looking at Paul’s ministry in Corinth, we see that after years of preaching, hardship, and opposition, Paul reached a moment where he needed encouragement from God Himself.
Through a night vision, God reminds Paul not to be afraid, not to remain silent, and to keep speaking the truth. More importantly, God promises His presence: “For I am with you.” This message challenges us to remember that God’s encouragement often comes not through changed circumstances, but through the assurance that He is near and working even when we cannot fully see it.
Pastor Kit also reminds us that fear is often illogical, yet deeply real. Whether we face uncertainty, anxiety, suffering, discouragement, or simply feel overwhelmed by life, God calls us to trust Him and continue faithfully walking in obedience.
As Paul remained in Corinth teaching God’s Word, lives were changed in ways he could not fully see at the time. In the same way, this message encourages us to remain faithful where God has placed us, trusting that He is still working through His people for His purposes.
