Directions to Find Our Way #2

In this message from Proverbs 3, Pastor Kit reminds us that God doesn’t just correct us — He directs us. Following Jesus is a journey, and He walks with us step by step, shaping our hearts, guiding our choices, and leading us toward Christlikeness. Wisdom isn’t simply avoiding foolishness; it’s pursuing the destination: knowing Jesus and becoming like Him.

The sermon highlights three movements in the passage: finding life through remembering and obeying God’s Word, finding favor by reflecting His loyal love and faithfulness, and finding guidance by trusting the Lord with all our hearts instead of leaning on our own understanding. Each call comes with a promise — that God meets us, shapes us from the inside out, and leads us in the way we should go.

Ultimately, the message reminds us that the Christian life is transformation. As we read, meditate on, and obey God’s Word, He changes our motives, renews our desires, anchors our trust, and directs our steps. When we place the “big rocks” of our life in His hands first, everything else finds its place — and we discover the joy, peace, and steadiness He intends for us.
